Using the right protective products and measures on your afro will make it strong and healthy, ensuring a speedy natural hair growth.

Moisture- It's essential for healthy looking hair. Oil keeps your curls well nourished and moisturized.  It will also helps enhance elasticity, shine and hair breakage. I personally use cantu hair products range shea butter daily moisturizer. Can use every day if necessary.

Wrap your hair before you go to bed - I prefer a silk scarf because it will not only protect your hair from fiction but will also prevent hair from tangles, dryness and any damage.

Beat the heat - Avoid heated tools as much as possible. Instead let your hair dry naturally.  Heat is one of the biggest damagers of hair, especially if you don't want to go natural.  On your wash day, if you're using a hairdryer set it on lowest heat and also don't  forget to use a heat protectant spray.

Know your products - products that contains nourishing natural ingredients like argan, avocado oil, jojoba and shea butter are most beneficial for taming frizz, keeping the hair moisturized level and stop breakage.  Cantu hair care range offers all of those oils.

Comb correctly - Use a wide tooth comb to pick  at your afro instead of a small one, which can cause breakage.

Avoid colouring- A color change is tempting, but it's best to stay away from any forms of hair dye. They dry up your hair resulting to breakage.

Wash day - keep your hair clean. Wash and condition once or twice a week.

To speed up your hair growth try power Gro hair capsules available at any pharmacist stores, Doo groo and sulfur 8 it strengthen hair.

Wear protective hairstyles braids or cornrow.

Your hair is your crown take care of it.
